How much can I expect new Race Face Rally FR knee / shin protectors thingummies to loosen up? They feel stiff as boards compared to my Kyle Straits and I just don't see how it'd be possible to pedal in them. Are the 661 / Dianesse equivalents just as stiff to begin with?
I'm trying to get to grips with flat pedals, so decided I'd need some additional protection as it seems somewhat likely that I'll slip a pedal or three and may have cause to regret 'just' having the Straits on...
