Advice on selling and advertising

Hi
I have a 2010 Trek Fuel Ex8 mountain bike. I have a few questions before I decide to sell it or not.
How much would I get for it as the condition of the bike is very good?
Where would I advertise it besides on Bike Radar?
When would be the best time, Christmas on in the new year?
I have noticed that 2011 bikes have a lower component spec. As I am on the ride to work scheme, I can purchase a new bike every year but this time round I may go for 2010 bike but higher spec.
Any advice?
Thank you

Not too sure about the price but i just sold my two bikes (2008 stumpjumper and Sx trail) on ebay.
Thing i did though was end auction early !!! and speak to person direct nudge nudge wink wink. 10%!!!!! fees is too much.
Be prepared for at least 20 questions per day however!!

Price evaluations are not allowed on the site, read the rules.
But as far as selling, here, ebay, gumtree maybe are the places I'd consider selling at. Also see if your LBS will let you put up a flyer near the door advertising the bike if your on good terms with them.0
