Im after some Blingy gold bolts for my brakes after upgrading to Saint brakes id like to keep the black gold theme.

Basically after the bolts from caliper to adaptor and adaptor to frame.

Similar to this:

Any ideas what bolts are suitable and where I can find some?

Would Alloy be OK or would I need ti bolts?

Thanks in advance

    Alloy? No, recipe for disaster.

You need some TiN (Titanium nitride) coated bolts (these are not the same as Titanium bolts!) which are pretty goldy in appearance.

The bolts are regular allen headed M6 available in any length but as to where you will find TiN coated ones I have no idea, but should not be impossible, just search for TiN coated bolts.

Go for Ti over alloy, but stainless steel would be best although you can't get them in gold.

I believe those bolts are the shimano yumeya bits and therefore probably Ti.

Cheers guys, I assumed that the Alloy ones would be no good, specially as the brakes are 4pot with 203mm rotors, will probably last 2 mins.

Maybe i should forget the gold bit then and stick to black ones. lol

Scrap that, for 8 brake bolts (4 front/4 rear) it'll cost me nearly £40.
  • As above,

These are prob the YUMEYA kit from Japan

They do all sorts of bizarre kit in gold !

Those are the Yumeya bolts, they're drilled for the lockwire.

Jenson USA were doing all the Yumeya kit very cheap. The retail price was an absolute joke, something like £40 for a pair of bolts! Think they've been discontinued anyway, so see if you can find some.

Pro-Bolt do gold titanium bolts, but like most anodised ti bolts the colour's a bit washed out.
