So the missus persuaded me to help her make a film of some of the trails in wharncliffe, she didn't have to try too hard lets be honest.

here's the result, it's a chilled out vid with great autumn colurs and hoepfully it gets you enthused to get out on your bike.

here's the linky thing -

  • Nicely done. Although if I'm honest, I preferred the one she did of you up at Lee Quarry. Not quite sure why though.

Nice vid.. the GH1 really is a versatile piece of kit - does she know there is a hack available to upgrade it to full HD video and faster framerates?

Very nice. Why am I at work and where is my bike!

  • Really good quality and enjoyable video - well done to your misses (oh and the riding wasn't bad either!) loved the way the sunlight filtered through the trees, very relaxed style. I also enjoyed watching the Lee Quarry vid - really makes me want to go there for a visit.

If your aim was to make me jealous and want to go out riding rather than sat at my desk, then it worked :)
  • Thanks for all the comments it's much appreciated. We discovered the hack for the GH1 and whilst the missus hasn't done it yet I knwo she plans to.

I know what you mean by the comparison with the lee quarry vid, that's such a different place it's hard to get the same kind of asthetic and style of riding in anywhere else. Stiill the colours and light that day were great so can't complain.

    Takee it easy

  • Sorry if that sounded like criticism.

I just figured why I prefer the Lee Quarry vid. The Lee Quarry one is more the sort of riding I like to do (although I did nearly kill myself on that double on the black, and then again by almost falling off the cliff on the other black that comes down off the very top of the quarry).

    Good times

Nice, proper autumnal. Can't abide the screaching pop punk / drab nu-metal music so many people think suits a bike video.

Awesome video, that and the Lee quarry one were both brilliant. As for the song it's excellent as well, I've actually seen her live :D Good work! :)
  • That was brilliant. I really enjoyed it.

Nice 8) Love the whole mood. Makes we want to get out on the bike now.
Shame it was different on my ride Wednesday evening, very wet and muddy, and dark!! Vid makes me feel better though, how autumn should be.
