    And why don't they delete them themselves ?

    - this one's been edited to say 'oops please delete', so why not simply delete it ?

    (hint - above one of your own posts, there's a button marked 'Edit' which allows you to edit it, and one marked [X] which lets you delete it...

    NB I'm not being sarky - it's quite possible you simply didn't know ! :) )

    Possibly because you can't delete a post once it's been replied to. So if you don't notice quickly enough it gets replied to and you're reduced to editing it to say 'please delete'
