Places to ride in the North West

Hi chaps im looking for some places to ride in the Cheshire or North West area. I dont mind a bit of travel but pref no further that a hour away.

I live near Delamere but have been told its not that good.

Any thought on other places to go.

Hey if you live near delemere why dont you go there and get exploring. Theres loads of great single track to be found if you leave the forest tracks. Theres also a skills section with a 4x track and loads of short downhilly jumpy sections.

Peak District.
Just the other side of Manchester, Ladybower easily got to in an hour... Some of the best riding in the country there.

Have a loook at Lee Quarry and Gisburn Frest as well, both relatively new trail centres in the north west
