Well.... ITS HERE! Great service by Tredz in Swansea, cant recommend them enough.Everything from choosing the bike, to receiving the bike was professional and backed up with what seemed like real knowledge. What a refreshing change.
Anyway, just as the TNT truck drove away, I lugged this thing indoors to battle through a cardboard box to get into my new toy :P
In the box
Out of the box
Wont be needing any of these
And the first "upgrade", a Hope seat clamp. Its an old old bolt through one, but the QR one will be here soon, looking a little fresher than this.

Well, first upgrade was on today, where i "by accident" put some Forumla RX's on to replace the Elixir 5s! Great as they have red caps on the calipers and the white actually looks quite good, will try get pics tomorrow,0

You will still love it Squid, they are brilliant to ride.
I managed 40 very wet very muddy miles this weekend, the supplied Michelin tyres are predictably slippery in the wet, but on the short bits of road I've done, they roll well. Maybe OK for summer but this winter sludge we have (very sticky mud around this part of country too) they are pretty terrible. Going to invest in some Maxxis Medusa 1.8s i think to cut through it a bit better.
Formula's are really starting to work now too, light weight bike with that much power on the brakes, even when it was wet you can really feel them working well.0 -
Very nice
I hope you're pleased with it and that it rides well.Constantly trying to upgrade my parts. It is a long road ahead as things are so expensive for little gain. n+1 is always the principle in my mind.0 -
Well stuck a few upgrades on it now
Replaced the gear cables with red ones, and put some anodised chainring bolts in too.
To come: Hope head doctor, hope QR squewers, Hope QR Seat clamp
Sorry for blurry pics, terrible camera on phone, and forgive me for having a filthy bike!

Sorry, sold them! Literally just the end of last week. The Formula's now on it are fantastic, but the standard pads just disintegrated away now the winter has arrived. Got some Superstar sintered pads fitted now, wait for summer to arrive, fit some organic pads.
Right now I've got Bonty MudX's (well, they arent on atm as i was riding on road the other day for a fair distance and wanted to roll a bit faster) but they are great for this winter gloop, really want the ground to dry out, get some Schwalbe Rocket Rons and ride this bike like how it was designed!0
