Is this an upgrade for my rear shock

I have an older model Heckler seen here which is fitted with an old Fox Vanilla coil shock.
My mate has an unwanted, little used X Fusion 02 RL i shock that appears to be the right size for my bike. He's not asking a lot for it so I was thinking of getting it - would it be an upgrade or would my money be better spent on getting the old one tuned by Mojo?
It may be a 190 eye to eye rather than a 200 in which case this is irrelevant I think.
Thoughts and answers on an internet style postcard please!

Most people seem to want to get rid of their Fusion shocks for some reason.
the i2i difference is a big issue and means that the shock is NOT the right size. it will mean slacker head and seat angle and also a lower BB height not to mention possible wheel to fram contact."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

My mates getting rid of it due to blowing his rear triangle to pieces and having a new spanky frame and shock!
Yeah the eye to eye is a problem - you measure from mid eye to mid eye to get the sizing right? In which case it seems to be 197 or something which X fusion dont seem to make! The shock is off an Iron Horse Bootleg if anyone knows the accurate sizing of that shock?Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0
