I used to have one in the 90's. Now I have:

They're the best watches in the world, ever.
The strap on mine's about to go, and it's probably cheaper to replace the whole watch when it does than to just get a new strap fitted.0 -
Win, I also got one. Cheap and functional, what more does a person need?
Oh, I only wear it when riding as the Polar F5 needs batteries, I wouldn't wear it to work :¬P0 -

i bought a suunto t4 with foot pod and bike skewer to use as a hrm but dont really use it for anything to be fair.0

I wear my Advizor nearly all the time and use the heart rate monitor on a weekly basis. I have another watch for 'dress' but I'm treating myself to a Tag Heur or similar for my 30th in May.+ 1001 posts reset by the cruel cruel moderators!

Those watches are the best ever made. Light, simple, tough, slim, they even look pretty cool. Oh, and they are virtually indestructible, and cost almost nothing.I like bikes and stuff0

If you like it that's all that matters. You can't have too many watches, trainers, beanies or sunglasses.0
-
Bought one 3 years ago to make it cool again. It worked. Don't mention it everyone. 8)0

Yep, love them. Currently wearing one right now.
Apparently it makes me a bearded, fixie riding hippy. But whatever, two out of three ain't bad.0 -

Old school animal watch from my 18th birthday, its still ticking over 12 years later0

I can't get on with watches at all. I love watches and clocks as amazing pieces of engineering, but they always piss me off when I'm wearing them. Might have something to do with having girly thin wrists.
I did have an awesome Casio calculator watch when I was about 13 though. Was my pride and joy.0 -
I found my old animal watch the other day that I bought at about 18, just needs a new battery.+ 1001 posts reset by the cruel cruel moderators!

of course it's a watch, it has numbers and everything
unfortunately it doesn't transform into a robot or a car. it just transforms me into a grumpy bastard!!0 -
I wear this everyday. I use it for sport and it's smart enough for dressy stuff too. On the other hand it does come with a 2 inch thick manual and is uber complicated, but I can tell you the time in Ohaka wherever that is?0 -
I like the red g-shock Excellent watch.0

pfff that's nothing mine has laser gun!
