Hey. New guy here from Cumbria, thought I'd show you my bike. I think the only thing's I've changed are the tyres (many times), ditched the Crank Bro pedals for some DMR V8's, put an RRP Evil Eyes Mudguard on and bike shield to cover the frame and keep it looking good.
Day I bought it. Started off on the Bontrager tyres the bike came with
They were too skitty in the wet and prone to clogging with mud so changed to Continental Speed Kings till I started to shred them when I was riding at Kirroughtree
One of my local routes - Top of Walna Scar, swapped to High Rollers at this point
Found the High Rollers drag too much and I ripped the rear tyre open going down Garburn Pass so took the opportunity to change again for some 2.25 Ardent's, seem to be a good mix between grip and rolling resistance, they look quite good too as a bonus but I don't have any photo's of it with them on although I think you get the idea by now!
Looking to get a bash guard and chain guide at some point so if anyone wants to suggest some feel free!

Welcome to the club.
I got mine right at the start of the year (January) and if you thought the XDX's were bad in the wet, you should have tried them in snow and ice.0 -
I got mine in January too! I was on it in the snow and ice with XDX's on to start with. Very scary! But I think most tyres without studs would of been...
Have you had the problem I've had with the rear skewer? (see my thread in workshop & tech sub forum)Current Bikes:

And this is one of the injuries I came away from Glentress with after spending an hour or so getting very cocky on the jump park.
7 stitches to sort that out. Also had my wrist in a cast for 10 days as they initially thought I'd broken something but turned out to be ligament damage. And my legs, chest, arms and neck were badly bruised and cut all over!Current Bikes:

Yeah its my chin. I took off, landed and the bike went from underneath me and I landed chin first in to the gravel.... got a full face helmet now for next time I go to any jump parks to avoid any more facial injuries!Current Bikes:
