Are these any good? Not looking for anything spectacular or super light. Bit of a fatty so strength is more important than weight.

Hard to fault for the money.0

I'm looking at the getting some superstar wheels. The rims on the above wheels are their light weight ones and not sure how much abuse they will take? But came out well in a wheelset test in last months MBUK0

What do you plan to ride? How much do you weigh, and what bike?
For decent xc/trail wheels, the Fulcrum Red metal 5 are 99 quid at OnOne.0 -

Looking for a set to put on my On-One 456. I'm about 12 stone and ride AM but would like the wheels to hold upto small jumps/drops.
I was going to order the Fulcrum's but they are centre lock only.0 -
Maybe take a look at Superstars tougher offerings with wider rims.0

Yeah, that was my thinking. These : http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_ ... cts_id=347 but with the double butted spokes to save a little weight and add some more strength.0

Just got Evans to price match On-One and the have the Fulcrum in a 6 bolt disk rather than the splined.0

Due to a change of plan I am going to use my Hardrock components to build up an On-One 456 summer season frame. I will probably go for the Superstar AM rims as in Kenans link.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
