You know those technical trails........wet roots....surprise corners....scary drop offs.......well forget them.

I watch those YouTube vids of people swishing and swoosing thru lots of lovely smooth singletrack. Often, the weather is dry, the trails are dusty....and the vegetation doesn't look like it's from round here.

Where are they!?

Or in longhand: Where in the world is the best riding for extended (20 miles and upwards) blue route riding.

I'd like that "casual & lasts forever" feeling which must be out there somewhere.

Does it exist?

Mugdock and start of West Highland Way. Scenic, easy going, close to civilisation, yet some lovely mixture of singletrack, landrover and forest paths. BUT DON'T TELL ANYBODY!!

The best official blue graded trail I've ever ridden is Glentress, it's lovely. Simple enough for beginners but turn up the pace and it's interesting enough for more experienced riders.
