anyone have any experience or comments of cycling the ventoux in november?

  • Not this year, I've got the feeling. On the alps it's already snowing at 1500-1600 mt and more snow is forecasted for beginning of November

Drove past Ventoux last week (albeit just seeing it from 20km away) & it has a dusting of snow up top. Was -6 degrees on Galibier & so probably about -1/-2 on Ventoux; if there's preciptation it'll be snow.
Between me & Eddy Merckx we've won pretty much everything worth winning on a bike.

It's possible. You could be really lucky an get a nice warm day however I wouldn't travel down here on the off chance that this might happen. At the moment it's just above freezing here in Faucon (360m) and I can see a light dusting of snow at the summit on the north side.
Temperature this afternoon is supposed to rise to the dizzy heights of 8 degrees here ans the rule of thumb is 10 degrees lower at the summit.
Oh yes, The Mistral is blowing quite strong too......brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
