what should i say start with hello
where will i live. depends how much you get paid, probably a one bedroom flat
is the pay enough pay is never enough, you always want more
will there be any nice ladies in the office Doubt it, but you'll get a few female customers
should i polish my shoes this is optional but advisable
should i take my bike then park out of the centre and ride in. yes, you can talk about your bike

on a serious note, my brother in law suggested the bike thing.

sounds like a cool idea, but that throws out dressing in smart shoes and shirt etc a bit.
(unless i find a fixie before tomorrow, they always ride in inappropriate smart clothing dont they?)

bike thing might be moot, just checked the weather and to quote Ollie the weatherman..
    "ITS GONNA RAIN!"

dont think showing up sweaty, red faced with a damp stripe up my back is a good look.

Weathers going to be ok, and York is as flat as a witches tit, so you shouldn't break a sweat :D ...

    Seriously though, good luck.

Wear some clean, well presented, but cool jeans and a tee, preferably a recognisable bike brand, such as Fox. Ride in. Be friendly, polite and relaxed, talk about bikes, seem knowledgeable, but not arrogant, and let your love of bikes come across. Most of all just be relaxed.... but not afraid to ask for more (pay for E.G) and if you get a job, just look and hope, you will find sumin....

dont know, he had 4 people to interview.
i should know either way by next week.
it seemed to go well, was pretty bloody hardcore for a retail interview.
went in at 1.30 and came out with a sore throat (not like that!) just before 4.

my only reservation, and the reason if i dont get it, is that it is very urban/road biased shop, for obvious reasons, and im very much mountainbike.

but they wanted someone with management/bike experience and who is old enough (25) to deliver in the van.
so i tick all the boxes.

    fingers crossed, cruds.
