Steerer tube length.... Eek!

I'm looking at cheap/2nd hand forks for my mmmBop. What is the minimum steerer tube length I should go for??
Most of the ebay listings have been pre-cut or there are a few new-take-offs with shorter tube lengths.
mmBop has a 115mm(ish) head tube but I've heard if I go for a zero-stack option the crown will foul the downtube.
Just seen a pair of Recon's on CRC with a 210mm tube... am I right in thinking that's massive??
Many thanks!

Nothing less than 190mm ideally.
My Fox's have a 186mm (iirc) steerer; along with a 13mm stack headset (to avoid the fork adjusters hitting the downtube) I have room for just one 5mm spacer, so I'll be investing in some higher rise bars.Less internal organs, same supertwisted great taste.0 -
I take it that's on an mmmBop?0

Ive got a 201mm steerer length run a token headset(which is not low stack so now fouling the downtube) and run 18mm of spacers0

depends on headtube, headset, spacers, stem stack heights, and a lot on how tall you are and how high you like your bars.
my maxlite/reba has a 200mm steerer wich i find a little too short but im happy enough with but my nomad/lyrik has a 245mm steerer wich i find spot on.0
