OK, I appreciate that I'm almost exactly twice the average age of a My Chemical Romance, and that there'll be nobody older than me at the gig other than some parents... And even then some of them will be younger. But I'm off to see them tomorrow in Edinburgh with Twin Atlantic supporting and I'm dead excited. Anyone else going to see them on this tour in randomly small venues?

  • I was tempted to in Manchester  thankfully it sold out though. I heard they put on a good show and their older punkier stuff is actually pretty listenable .Their new song/ image is wierd though.
  • twin atlantic are amazing, and brilliant live so have fun :)

as for MCR, good band, just a shame about the culture that goes with them, but yeah, have fun :) quite jealous tbh

They're exactly what'd happen if the Lostprophets and Biffy Clyro had kids. Actually, ew.

I'd love to hear the bizarre accents that would be formed if Biffy and Lostprophets had kids

Don't mind some of their songs, but don't like them enough to go see them.

I would like it if the Rock Radio station at work would refrain from playing MCR.

That was really damn good. Though I think my hearing may have been permanently damaged by all the screaming teenage girls. And boys come to think of it. Forget this emo crap, just a proper rock band.

Also, Twin Atlantic need more songs.

Some of their songs, if you imagine an irish accent onto them, could be Therapy?. Others could be the Wildhearts. Lots of Queen and old rocker influence. Rock band.

They didn't hold their end up too well really, seemed not to know what to do if the crowd doesn't go mad. Saw them headlining a while back and they were a lot better but they didn't really have the material to keep people's interest I thought. Mind you I remember saying that about Biffy when they supported OPM, turned out I was a bit wrong then too

Audience and Audio's a tune and a half though.
