Campag shifters
I have a pair of campag centaur shifters approx 18 months old. The right hand shifter has just suffered a mechanical problem and stopped working. It should be under the campag guarantee but have been told this can be a long drawn out prcess. Does anyone know of a way to speed up the process?

Send them to Mercian Cycles. There's a guy in there by the name of Geoff, who is the
in-house Campag Ergo man. He only works on Thursday and Friday.

outstanding - I have been searching for a Campag Ergo repair man for ages. I must make contact with Mercian.0 -
I have just got my 1997/8 Chorus Ergo rear changer lever back fom Mercian and it's working like new again. The repair cost just over £41 and included parts, labour and postage.
Having just seen a set of similar levers as NOS at Campy Oldy for £200, I am well chuffed with just being able to get old equipment repaired and now look forward to getting a few more years out of my "obsolete" ie 9 speed set-up.
My thanks to Mercian for providing the service and hope it may continue well into the future.
