I'm looking into buying a Turbo Trainer for over the winter months and have seen some cheap Turbo Trainers on ebay for £45 - £50, My question is, will these be as good as say a £100+ turbo trainer?
I don't want to be spending a lot on a turbo trainer.
This is the turbo ive seen on ebay:-

I have an even lower spec - from the same source. I didn't want to spend alot - as I couldn't see myself using it, as I don't like turbo training. More than good enough foe a toe in the water job IMO0

If it helps, I'm selling a Tacx Satori for £100 - great condition, would need to pick up from Kent0

The cheap ones will probably be more fiddly to set up, noisier and/or feel even less road like. Most people find spending time on their turbo hard enough - if its a crap turbo then you'll likely use it even less.
Bit late for you now, but summertime or the end of winter are good times to pick up used turbo trainers for bargain prices.More problems but still living....0
