Bought tickets off a tout outside a gig?

How much more than face value do they normally want?

    No.
    Triple the usual price.
I bought a ticket for £9.50 once and the touts were selling the same tickets for £35 outside.
    It's not worth it.

I think I've got one at face value! All is good!

    Wouldn't be for a 19yr old C&W singer?
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Nope. Alter Bridge.
  • If you wait nearer the start time you can haggle better as the touts will want to get rid of them. I went to see Roykskopp and bought 2 tickets off a tout, tickets should have been 12 quid but asked for 20, when I said we'd look for another tout he reduced it to 15.

Seemed a good deal but one ticket had been ripped and cellotaped together, luckily the queues were massive so the tickets werent checked too scrupulously.

I reckon 1 and quarter times original isnt too bad, especially if you really wanna see the band.
