Not sure if this has been reported yet, but it seems Ricco is going to team up with Sassi now - after hearing Sassi's comments that he wanted to be his coach.

Can he do whjat he's done for Evans and Basso - and more importantly - will this help ensure he stays 'clean'?

The cynic in me thinks it's a PR exercise for Ricco, to give him some much needed credibility.

The cobra doesn't shed his skin. He's an opportunist and if he thinks he can get away with it he will

Theres a two-page Q&A with Sassi in the the current Cycling Weekly. The poor guy doesn't hold out much hope of still being alive by the time the next TdF rolls around. He is at risk of seizures after 20 minutes on the bike and has lost much of the control of his left leg and arm.

Why he'd want to draw Ricco upon himself at this stage is beyond me.
'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'
