telly all day, it is wet and miserable here.

might try my arm out on a quick local ride though.
  • Woke this morning with a hangover from last night. And also my hip is killing me, didnt fall over, no bruised but lying down and moving it around is agony... probably Sciatica (Sp?) but hopefully nothing that bad...

Painted the 'chips' and flaked paint on the Marin's dropouts (3 coats +1 clearcoat) Thursday night, so later when it's totally hardened, shall refit the rear wheel.

Also (as above) painted the Mongoose shock mounts as they too flaked when the shock was removed to run the brake/gear lines.. now it's done you cant tell that it ever was chipped.. used one of those micro hobby brushes and applied thin coats ..... bring on the Humbrol enamel paints...

Not sure about today, not in a massive drinking mood TBH so dont know if Ill venture to the pub.... ridings out (see above^ dodgy hip) so thats a bummer :(

dont forget to tip something over as soon as you get in and when someone tries to pick it back up: balls out in a threatening manner.

if you dont do this, you will get walked all over.

Gonna go attack my forks with a stick. Then, when they're all in parts, I'll sit there crying and then sob down the phone at TF and just bite it and send the damn things to them. Which I should have done in the first place.

Morning beautiful people and good morning El Cap. Had a lie in until half 12 and now I'm having bacons

I shall then be heading down to Haverfordwest/Broad Haven to stock up in my winter wardrobe, much better selection on surf shops here than in Wolves.

I'm stood outside a cinema in Birmingham waiting for a friend. When she finally gets off her fat arse and turns up, we'll be seeing Paranormal Activity.

Fettling's been delayed due to lack of daylight and torrential rain. Just had lunch and the sun's started to work again, so fingers crossed...

    Good Afternoon!

I've had my hair cut and got my money out ready to change for dollars. Replacement phone has arrived so I'm just gonna put the latest up-dates on it.

And my friend has sprung a surprise visit on me and is on her way to see me from Stoke, halloween party tonight!

    Life is awesome!

    THE FORKS ARE ALIVE!! ALIVE!!!

Took them to bits, cleaned and oiled all the parts, put them back together, used a mahoooosive syringe to add the right amount of oil and they seem to be working.

I thought summat was up with them at Cannock. I knew summat was wrong last weekend. They were alternating between rigid and pogo sticks.

    2006 Marz All Mountain 2's.

When I got them, they were wonderful. After a couple of years, I took them to be serviced because I thought they should be... They've not been completely right since. A while ago, I took them to bits and fixed a couple of bits, but I think I inaccurately measured the oil when I put them back in - the only damn service manual I could find was in Italian, but that's no excuse really since they're simple!

But now... Now they seem to be working right again. I shall have to go out and try them. Not at Sherwood, even though it's close. After weather like this, it won't be nice!

I went to a bike shop today for a look around, I actually wanted to get a closer look at the 2011 Zesty 314. Anyway to cut a long story short, I like what I saw so I bought one :)
