help needed with cycle computer

Hi all having just purchased a cateye velo 8 cycle computer having a problem fitting to front fork. The question is how to get the sensor close enough less than 5mm to the magnet any ideals welcome?

Put it on the non disc side, and the sensor below or above where the spokes are crossing (you knew that probably)

? errr... rotate it until its within 5mm from the magnet, instructions give clear diagrams.

Where have you mounted the sensor/magnet.

ah i see by your picture non disc side is the best route to take, i guess the lower you go down the fork the closer its going to get to the 5mm many thanks will give it a go and keep you posted
