TACX i-magic trainer with Fortius software upgrade
Can anyone help / shed some light on the following.
The tacx trainer I have has stopped responding to pedal or wheel rotation.
The software loads, the usb driver recognises that the tacx is attached, but when I pedal nothing happens! the rider doesn't move.
If this is any help:
The last time I used it, I noticed that I didn't seem to make anywhere near the progress on-screen no matter how fast I pedalled! (This was riding one of the VR courses). I initially put it down to being unfit, but the more I think about it, is it possible that something has just simply 'burnt out', and that the 'slowness' was it beginning it's slow death.?
I don't even know if there is actually something that could burn out?
To make matters worse, I now live in the Philippines! and have not been able to find anyone that even sells TACX out here.
Any help/advice gratefully received.
Thanks

Have you calibrated the unit? Made sure the tyre is on the roller properly? Did the updates to the software?
Try them and see if it works. Is it the same with all the programs? Catalyst - Real lif video - Vurtual reality???0 -
Check your cadence sensor is working correctly, It can cause very similar faults to yours if it isn't.Complicating matters since 19650
