Cronos on Friday, the Devil's Backbone on Saturday and Pan's Labyrinth on Sunday. Brilliant! Cronos is not perfect, but an interesting version of a vampire film, but the other two are amazing - if you haven't seen them before, you should!

Still a little disappointed he's not doing the Hobbit too.

Got the hellboys on DVD :)

And the new Fallout game which has hellboy/Ron Perlman as the narrator has just been released and dispatched from amazon. Now it'll be even harder to force myself to go out in the cold!

And no I haven't got round to seeing Let the Right One In yet. I know it's supposed to be good.
  • watched it last night - its awesome I'd recommend it before the hollywood remake hits the screen

Pan's Labyrinth is stunning. My Mum watched it & was distraught! She expected a happy, gentle fairy tale with a happy ending. Not so here.

If you remotely enjoy a good film, watch it & prepare to be enchanted, mesmerised & shocked in equal measures.

    Andy162 filmometer rating of 9.92/10.

It does have some shockingly violent moments. Great movie, have my blu ray copy signed by GDT.

Well that was interesting and unexpected! :)

Sort of like 'The Ninth Gate' which I also liked.

Looking forward to the next one tonight!

One of the greatest directors of his generation. Pans is one of my favourite films.

Especially if you shut your eyes and pretend Blade II doesn't exist

The only one of his I haven't seen is Mimic.

Agreed - it's just frustrating having to look to the bottom of the screen to read what is going on - and missing what is actually happening.

I won't watch a dubbed film at all and try and avoid subtitles if I can.

I quickly find that i don't notice the subtitles. Then I get really surprised if I look down for my cup of tea and can't understand what someone just said!
