Indeed. As long as the frame doesn't rub on my calf muscles like that Norco did...

Oh I rode a DH bike up the climb at Llandegla at one of the MBUK Bike Test days. I got quite a few strange looks (wel, more than I would normally...) :D

Team NUT Lube will be riding on NukeProof's for 2011, so not me.

  • I think it looks quite nice. Doesn't seem too badly priced either. What it rides like might be another matter though.

I like it, keenly priced. I wasn't too keen on Saracen's new line up, and that weird webpage, but as time passes it seems they are bringing out some good stuff. Just like the old days.

lance mcdermott will be riding that. but tbh i reckon a small british team like 44racing or slam 69 would be interested

On a serious note, i like it, well priced, looks good, if i had the cash, and a good reason to buy one, id def consider it.

  • Looks like a good bike for the money, except for the shite forks!

Shame about that, I would seriously consider buying one if it came with the higher end forks.

The Nukeproof looks like a good bet, but I think it only comes as a frame? :(

Yeah, I'd have that. Not that I'm about to buy a DH bike, and if I did it'd probably be a shagged out old one off Ebay but that's a good looker, great price and they seem to know what they're doing.

Were the ones you broke related at all to the new company? It's like Triumph, same name but no real connection. My brother's Raw 2 and my other brother's Rufftrak are both unbelievably s**t but I wouldn't kick a new Ariel out of the garage.

Some of the old stuff was great though - NZymes, Zens, Xiles. The ultra budget stuff was the ones that caused concerns and the really cheap full sussers. Saracen were way ahead of their time though - introduced loads to dirtjumping, the first usable 300 quid hardtail, first UK long travel hardtail.
  • I think that bike is rather beautiful. I lived anywhere near a mountain with lifts I would be all over that, but sadly I have to ride to the top everytime. OK definitely not saldy but it's alright.
