I know most of you wont have heard of her or the slits, but she was fine gal who left a load of good memories and good tunes and not least the front cover of Cut. They only played liverpool last year. RIP ari typical girl.

saw the slits supporting the clash in the 70's and also earlier this year, always good value0

there's a shame,
saw them at Offset festy last year - she's been my example of properly nuts ever since, re-starting a song a few times because the sound "has to be as clean as my poom-poom" and generally rambling nonsense.
coincidentally, i've been humming Shoplifting off and on for the last few days.. best dig out Cut for a tribute listen i guess (and maybe a mucky tribute flick through the inlay)0 -
