Which Department For Ride2work Scheme?

I'm thinking about getting a new bike which I could use for commuting and want to try and convince my employer to start the Ride2work scheme. As I work for the NHS I won't get as good a discount as people working for private companies but it's still enough to make it worthwhile.
Which department in most companies deals with the implementation and running of the scheme?

The NHS has a self administered scheme. You need to figure out who is likely to be responsible for organising it at your facility.0

Knowing our service's amazing ability to organise things, that could be very difficult
I'll start off pestering HR and see where that leads me!0 -

I've just managed to get a reply from HR. They don't have any plans to introduce the scheme but are 'considering' it.
In the meanwhile I can have a 10 month interest free loan to buy a bike up to the value of £1,000 and I cna get a 10% discount at Evans or Halfords. Not too bad, I suppose0 -

I think it actually varies between Trusts. My Trust used to use Cyclescheme, but then changed to a self-administered scheme where they pay the retailer directly. Other Trusts still use Cyclescheme while some use the NHS scheme. The advantage of my Trusts scheme is that retailers don't charge a premium like they (some of them at least) do with Cyclescheme, NHS Bikes, etc.
Oh and its Payroll that administer the scheme here.More problems but still living....0 -
