Heavy breathing phone calls

I've got a Sony Erricson Vivaz phone with a dodgy key-lock. When it is in my back pocket on a cycling jersey it has a habit of unlocking itself an starting to phone people. The problem is it unlocks if you press any button, then touch the bottom left of the screen. So any slightly shifting pressure on the button on the bottom left of the screen can unlock it. This is also the button that brings up recently dialed numbers, and dials them again. It took a while for my wife to realise who the heavy breather was repeatedly phoning her. I'me using a soft leather case which doesn't help at all.
Apart from getting a ridged case, does anyone know of a way of changing the key lock so that it is harder to accidentally unlock and make random calls? I'm a bit worried who will get the heavy breathing call when I'm next out on the bike.

Got to agree with Ben, why not just switch it off?0

Not in the habit of riding over overly large bumps or potholes myself. However, a little judicious application of straps or rubber bands and the phone is as safe as the bike.
Come to think of it, I'm not in the habit of taking the phone with me on the bike.
Old school thinking......0 -

Or you could just superglue it in. :idea:0 -

Term1te hasn't told us whether his wife was disappointed when she discovered it wasn't a heavy breather...0

Probably true...
Thanks for the ideas. I was hoping someone might know of a trick to make it harder to accidentally unlock the phone, whilst still being able to receive calls. However, I like the idea of welding the phone to the frame, which flux should I use when welding plastic and titanium?0 -

When I first had a company mobile I used to have it set up so I needed to enter a 4 digit PIN number to unlock it. You're much less likely to do this by accident with the cheeks of your @rse.
I don't bother any more; it became just too annoying.
Occasionally it accidentally dials the first number in my contacts. After a few returned calls from an irate ADAS research establishment I created a dummy entry under Aardvark Express0 -
Can't you just breathe more quietly?0

Given it is in a rear pocket, are we sure it is breathing that your wife heard?0

It's a point that the only reason to really take your phone with you on a ride is in case you have an emergency and need to call an ambulance/the police/the wife and so why not just turn it off? Let her know that if she needs to contact you for whatever reason to send a text and then when you turn it back on again you'll receive said message.0
