Test bike pedals
Peddle Up!
What’s people’s experience of test ride cycles, specifically the pedal setup? So far I’ve experienced test bikes with toe clips (OK – I could wear trainers) and SPD clipless (not OK because my shoes are SPD SL). Do I have to take two pairs of shoes along, or have my own pedals fitted for the ride?

Take your own if you've got them and shoes, most bike shops where you're testing a bike will quite happily pop yours on as you'll be happier and hopefully like the bike more.
If you don't want to be without pedals on your bike ride it to the shop and ask if they'd move them onto the demo bike.0 -
Take your own. Here's my blog entry for a test ride at Evans

I also took my own when I went to a Specialized Concept shop0 -
