Good cycling shops in Newport

...have the dubious pleasure of a trip to Newport (South Wales version) this avo.

Any good cycling shops? Specifically, ones which stock plenty of clothing.

    I've only used Callows and wouldn't go back there again. There are two other shops, Broadribb Cycles and Gwent Cycles but I'm not sure what they are like. Broadribb's website suggests they have a reasonable range of clothing though. I tend to go into Abergavenny as Gateway Cycles sponsor my club. To be honest I haven't seen any bike shops in the area with a particularly large range of clothing.

    If it's clothing you're after then have a look at Broadribbs, not a large selection but the most around here. Gwent cycles are good for repairs & service IMO, but don't do very much clothing unless you want a Phoenix shirt. Broadribb also good for servicing & repairs.
