Morning Gang
After a couple of night's insomnia I finally got a good night's sleep last night, which was wecome and neccesary. Although I did awaken to find theres next to no food in the house, even though I went shopping yesterday and pretty much just bought Kit-Kats. So for brekky i have porridge and lemon curd.
Today is another morning at work, then slinging the bike in the car and going for a gentle potter abot somewhere, not sure where yet mind. Then off to the garage to sign more paperwork after buying Mrs g a new car, because her old one has had to be put down, and apparently she's too pikey to be able to purchase it in her own name.
right then tata for now

bleeding eck it was cold this morning, it showed 2 degrees in the car on the way in this morning. Didnt get out on the bike last night as my bro was ill and where we normally ride is pretty remote so you dont do it at night in the rain and the mud just in case. (no phone signals etc)
Got another stag do to go to this weekend, which is nice but that means another weekend without riding
I forgot to post this up, my first pint stateside when i landed in denver on the way to vegas.

bah humbug, back to work today, just went outside and it's fecking freezing. I'm tempted to book an extra day off (I can access the holiday calender from the internet). no doubt I'll have a lot to catch up on as no one knows how to do half of what I do :x

Still feeling crap, wish this cold would either develop into a propper one or foxtrot oscar...
It was so cold this morning, Mrs C had to scrape the ice off the Cakemobile! I also wore gloves on the walk from the car-park to the office! :shock:
On the bright side though, I should receive some shiney new, lightweight, pimptastic Ti goodyness in the post today.

Coffee-wallah minion is off sick today, so it looks like I'm going to have to get my own coffee, which might have to be accompanied by a bacon roll (for medicinal purposes) or two...0 -
There's probably gonna be some hate for this but i'm still huddled under my nice warm duvet wondering if i should
A. Get up and get dressed and start doing the housework the wife fell out with me about last night.
B. Get up with duvet wrapped around me and move to the couch to watch a film with a nice cup of coffee.
C. Get up, make a fryup and then take the dog for a walk on this sunny of mornings.
Back to work tomorrow though :evil: but then it's only two days to the weekend Never argue with an idiot, he'll only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.0 -

today i shall be going and buying some arm warmers and maybe a gilet (Gay?) in preperation for a ride in the north east, where its bound to be even colder than here.
I have a sweet ACG windstopper but think i'll be too hot in that.
also on route i shall have a large latte and pick up the obvious magazines with free hat.
then maybe a bacon and phillidelphia on a toasted bagel for din dins.0 -

1st frost of the year round ours this morning. Lovely clear day though, would be perfect for riding, but I'm stuck here in the office
Still it's not all bad. My new forks have been paid for and should be on their way to me in the next day or 2. Hopefully will be here by the weekend.
Massive thanks to Sigma Sport for doing a good price on them. They're even getting the resident teabitch to cut the steerer and fit the star nut for me before posting

I love days like this, clear skies, no wetness, but with a bite to the air. I almost feel like putting a coat on and going for a walk.... this no working malarkey aint doing me any good, if this is what retirement feels like i'm gonna work myself to death.
At least we got some F1 action to look forward to this weekend, it'll be the earliest i'll be waking up in 2 weeks. :S0 -

Got up at 12 today and went to collect my ticket to watch he Mighty Bolton Wanderers hit at least 4 past Wigan at the weekend.
