Parcel Force - Arggghhhhh...!

Sorry, but I need to rant about Parcel Force!
I won an Enduro bike frame on eDay on Tuesday last week and it was sent on Wednesday by Parcel Force's 48hr delivery. They tried to deliver on Friday, but I was at work, so they took it back to their depot. I rearranged delivery for Saturday...nothing turns up. So, I rearrange delivery again for Tuesday (today) when I'm off work. They then try and deliver yesterday (Monday)! When I track it today, it's being held at their depot 40 miles away awaiting my collection. Argh! I just want my bike frame and they seem to pay no attention at all to the redeliveries specified by the customer.
Trying to call their helpdesk and due to high call volume they can't take my call. I'm not suprised they have a high call volume, they're effing useless!!!!!

Ask them to deliver it to your local Post Office for your collection, I know this used to be an option with Parcel Force.Northwind wrote: It's like I covered it in superglue and rode it through ebay.0

ParcelForce have delivered a sh*tload of stuff for me and I never had a prob with them. Just leave a note on the door ask them to leave parcels with the neighbours or at the nearest PO or have it delivered to work.
Put yourself in their shoes they have a van full of parcels to deliver and if you're not there and there's no communication they're not gonna mess about. I know I wouldn't.0 -
I can understand, but if I say to them that I'll be in on two days and they deliver on neither, then you can see that it's a bit frustrating!
I've arranged for it to be delivered to a local Post Office on Thursday (the soonest available). Lets see if it lands!
I just want my new frame0 -
Parcelforces service has always been poo. When I was moving here, my parents sent a box of things to me using them, and they tried to deliver while I was out. I came home literally 5 minutes after the missed delivery, and immediately called them to reschedule, and specifically asked if since it was only 5 minutes ago if they could page the driver and ask him if he was still in the area. They told me they doubted he would come back even if he was only a minute or 2 away by van.
Never had a problem with DPD or UPS paging the driver to come back, or arrange somewhere for me to meet them.0 -
I alwasy get Parcel force to go to my local post office- much easier.,
Just dont mention bloody Dippy Parcel Delayers.....
Caused me chaos this week by 'forgetting to load' a bit of work kit. Its OK guys its only a £46,000 machine you have lost for a day..... and probably cost my company lots as we may have lost a sale due to them...
Other day we sent 2 parcels to the same place. (Hungerford) one arrived OK, other was in Preston by mistake- opps on wrong van- er thanks you muppets!

I had similar to this a few weeks ago, left it with a 'neighbour' no card.
The 'neighbour' happened to live 2 miles away!!! Only got the parcel as the kind person who they left it with drive round with it a few days later! ParcelForce did feck all to investigate when I said it had gone missing!Ride it like you stole it!0 -
Never had any problems with parcelfarce.
Druggies Homos and Losers never leave a card and one of their hightly trained staff decided to just lob a parcel containing a portable hard drive and marked fragile over our side gate. At least this was a secure location as they usually just leave stuff on the front doorstep.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
Well, Parcel Force rang this morning and were very apologetic. They've assured me that my frame will be delivered tomorrow. In what state, who knows!0

I've has many an issue with parcel force too, they once left a card saying they had left a parcel at number 25, after 4 days of trying, I left a note, he left one back saying he'd not had it, it was only when I tried house to house enquiries did I find it at number 23. Mind you I was more annoyed that the people at number 23, in what had been a week passing, had not been bothered to come and drop it round.
I also ordered some low energy bulbs once, 2 weeks they had not turned up so I contacted the seller on ebay who sent me out some more, 2 years later, I found teh originals when I cleared out the raised Ivy bed at the front of the house, nestled down in the Ivy.
Ive had stuff left in bins too, and under the car, clueless0 -

Best thing about Parcel Force round here is that the Mrs went to school with our regular delivery driver and he lives just down the road. On the couple of occasions we've missed delivery, he's just taken the parcels home and dropped them round when he finished work.
So there's your solution, you need to find out who your postie is, find a bird he went to school with and is still in contact with, and marry her. Simples.0 -
Waited two weeks for delivery of our wedding rings back in 2008
Finally gave up and phoned the company who contacted Parcel Force
'We tried delivery three times' say they
'If you don't leave us a card to say, how are we supposed to know this?' say we.

Well, it's still not landed. I had arranged for it to be delivered to my house on Tuesday. I was in all day and nothing landed. So, complained via the Parcel Force web site and rearranged it to be delivered to my local post office today. My wife had a phone call from the depot yesterday and they profusely apologied and guaranteed it'd arrive today...which it didn't!
So managed to get through to the depot this afternoon on the phone (not as easy as it sounds) and the guy said it was in the wrong cage and will go out tomorrow. So we'll see!
If I get it tomorrow it's a bit of a push to have it built up for riding it on Sunday morning. I've got no faith in it landing though!0 -
Ow, is there hope....
