Before spending mega bucks, I wanted to see what a steel frame rode like.
So thanks to gumtree, a few quid later, I was the proud owner of a 90s classic ! An evening in the garage to strip her right down, including a full T-Cut and polish.
The follwoing night a build up !
Have to say, I amazed at how well it rides, if I have any gripes, I would say the top tube is a bit short. It rides really well, compfy and nippy, obviously not modern standards, but still a good ride.

Thanks guys, Hope Hoop rear wheel and a nice close ratio 13-21 cassette for acceleration.
Would love to fit disks brakes, but think it is a no go.0 -
It's certainly possible to fit discs, but not cheap! Look inmy white inbred thread for some pics of mine getting them welded on.0
