Hi

I am looking for a nice road bike for my wife for year round use. I am really keen that it has full mudguards; a wet backside will put her off pretty quick. Don't want second rate racegaurds/crudguards etc. Would also like ladies' saddles/bars/small levers etc

There are a lot of nice summer bikes for ladies now but I can't see any winter/year round models. Does anyone know of a suitable decent alternative to Ribble/Kinesis around the 1k mark?

Not yet ready for custom Ti or steel model.

Thanks in advance

Alan

Look at the Giant Avail range.

My girlfriend seems quite pleased with hers.

(It really bugs me how few bikes have fittings for mudguards)

around £500 There are more upmarket WSD bikes if required
