    these threads are pathetic

I do not care what floats your boat. I can make my own mind up.

Grow up, the lot of you.

no you are pathetic, dont click on them if you dont want to comment. You did the same on the beck adlington post (which went to 2 pages) and I suppose the 'Women in Lycra Shorts' Thread is abhorent to you ... despite the fact its broken all forum records !!

    not for me it isn't.

I have to agree with Scrumple on this one. These threads are pathetic. Mostly because they pop up all the time.

However, Girls in Lycra Shorts kicks @ss. 8)
  • theres all sorts of repetitive threads on here, the forum would die if we didn't have the same conversations over and over again, every different area has its staples.

Maybe everyone should post photos of their wives/partners and we can all judge whether we 'would or not'. That would liven the forum up
  • Trust me

    You wouldn't

I enjoy the lycra threads, as they celebrate the female form.

These sorts of threads are just sad. When you grow up you will know why.

And, yes, I posted the same on the Becky Adlington thread. My wife works with her sister, and it is pathetic to read you lot gibber on about her. Get some class.

    Google vulgar, common, and discourteous.

haha, its just a bit of banter which is what forums are for, whats the point in complaining if you don't want to contribute to the threads topic don't post. Oh and yes i sure would, just a shame none of us would stand a chance

Anyone thinking of posting a new topic in cake stop, please PM Scrumple with your idea to gain his personal seal of approval. Also, if you happen to be chatting in your local, you will need to run any topics of conversation past Scrumple too, hopefully they will provide their mobile number as to give immediate advice if you are being pathetic or not.

This thread is a little bit juvenile but not offensive - the people who post stuff like "munter" on the Adlington thread on the other hand are out of order because that's juvenile and offensive.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

true, the other thread is in poor taste, and this is a bit better as it has less inuendo.

But, mocking me is yet another sign of juvenille tendancies which just reinforces my suspicions....

My opinion is as valid as yours?

yea but what you have done is the classic, offer your opinion where it wasn't asked for. It's a forum trolls staple, someone asks about x, and the troll replies x is rubbish and they should get y instead.

I agree, threads like this are utterly and indescribably tragic.

I'd be interested to hear Rebecca or Jess's marks out of ten for the average middle aged boring bike geek who posts on these forums and in particular, threads.

Anyway, I much prefer Kelly Southerton.

  • Yeah Jess is good looking and a nice personality, i like Kelly Sotherton as well, theres a lot of good looking women athletes around now, a lot of the Russian girls are tasty which i dont remember them being 20-30 years ago, mind you that was in the old East Bloc days when it was hard to tell if some of them were actually women.
