    In my opinion, tubs are only suitable for those that race and who have a service car following them with spare wheels. I do not think there is any merit for your average club rider to run them. A rider in my last club had tubs, he got a puncture in the rain. We sat for ages in the cold and rain while he fitted the pre-glued tyre. As it was raining the glue did not take properly. We escorted him to a cafe while he called his wife for a lift home. For me, it was a lesson - never fit tubs. Have a look at this article for some interesting comment:

    Seriously, if you don't understand / can't make an informed decision on buying tubs, then why are you buying them? :roll:
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
