going to be a bad day...........

Firstly did a classic rally with the MD over the w.end and for the first ever time I was sick & had trouble reading my notes - we didn't do well

Then I am a Liverpool fan in an office with a few Everton fans :(
  • At Heathrow T5 sipping a large coffee awaiting my lift
Feeling a little crappy after the 11 hour flight, but I'm back on the isle of rain and still have to drive from Basingstoke to Bristol to collect Milo (my cat) then back to Stoke. Pffft...
Tonight I certainly won't just sleep, I'll slip into a mini coma

We've just sung the Scousers lament to our lone Liverpool fan

for some reason he walked straight back out after that one.

  • The real problem with spending two weeks in Orlando having a great holiday is definately the 7am start on the first monday back after the holiday when it's cold, wet, miserable....

A fantastic sunday riding W2 at Afan in the crisp cold sunshine seems a long time ago now. Stuffy office, tie chocking my neck, eyes hurting from the screen. I am consoling myself by looking for a new BB for my FS and a new rear wheel for my Hardtail.

So to replace a crossride 08 for a trail hardtail - what wheel? Must be sub £100 not too heavy, not too flimsy. Probably a crossride 10/11 yeah?

    Good Morning Freaks!

Feel crap. Think I'm starting to get a cold. I don't get man-flu - I have the vaccine each year.

Need to order some metal tubing, to make a tool from (Ooh er matron!). Apart from that, I shall be doing sweet FA today in the office, which, nice as it sounds, is becoming increasingly tiresome...

I have bugger all to do though :P So far I've been up two hours and managed to eat breakfast.
  • Afternoon all,

Weather yesterday was perfect for a nice ride through the country, apparently. Unfortunately I couldn’t risk being further than 20ft away from a bog for most of Sunday morning. :( Epically hacked off.

The morning wasn’t a total loss though, Wrath of Khan has now been watched. 2 down, 8 more to go. They had all 10 Star Treks on Film4 over the weekend so they’re now all on my digi box.

Saturday was a better day, took the little 1 out on his balance bike while the wife went off and spent my bonus. Looks like he has now nailed his balance, scooting along and then lifting his legs up behind him, 1st time he’s properly done it so rather happy with that. Also fitted pannier to the rat bike, drills and Dremels were involved, the sign of a proper fettle. It felt weird riding it this morning, my head kept telling me I’d forgotten something (no bag on shoulders) and the bike reacts slower when out of the saddle. But I got to work and my back was dry for once, I can normally wring sweat out of my top when I get to work.

The brother has asked if I fancy a round of golf next week, I’ll have to pull my clubs out this week and try and remember which end you hold.

    Is it 5 yet?

Into my 2nd week of no work and it's definitely starting to get boring. I have already put on half a stone in muscle from going down the gym 5 times in the last 7 days though, hell I was even spinning at 9:30 saturday morning. :S

There's no way we can be as un funny or embarassing as a person who wears Roger Rabbit ties and trousers that are 6 inches too short.
