Can anyone help me with sizing for this company? Can't find anything on their website. Want to buy a medium jacket - says 38 inch but worried Euro sizing will come up short on my 5'11" frame.

their m's and L's vary a lot, a bit like Assos... I have a m and a L jacket and the L is much tighter (?!). I have seen 3 different size charts online and I think their website avoids one as the models change yearly and sizing does too.

Can be race or comfort. It will either be 36-38, or more 38 if comfort. They are race cut so will be a short fit.

I'd be careful, although you can always send it back under the 7 day rule if bought from an internet retailer. You would be taking a gamble.

I would say go large. I've got a gilet in a size L that is pretty snug on me (40") so would probably be perfect for you
  • hmmm, thanks. This is an ebay special: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

might be one to avoid. too short methinks

they are quite an old model - the review mag link is 2006.
Likely to be snug! They were not too much more than that new, as well.

When I bought one of my winter Etxeondos, they were £120 ish - about 170 now.

They had some lighter weight jersey type, like that one, about £70. Guess they went up! Mind you, you could buy Assos half the price it is now in 2006

Like I said, it is a few years old. If you like it, go for it!

    did you bid? Win?

Top tip - posting a link here for something you want is inviting the whole of bikeradar to bid against you!

    Etxeondo is the correct spelling.
  • Etxe Ondo is two words. They miss the hyphen out now because of the internet.

so, as they miss the hyphen out it is now one word.

Also, it is always one word when printed on the jacket.

As it means near home in spanish, it is derived from 2 words

What a usefully useless post. Thank you.
  • Etxe Ondo changed their logo with the advent of the internet, and when it was thought the presence of a hyphen would be confusing. If you look closely at your Etxe Ondo kit you will see that each letter in the words 'Etxe' and 'Ondo' are joined up, and you will see that the logo still contains two words, just like it has always done.

My first Etxe Ondo kit was CLAS-Cajastur many moons ago, and I have since never owned any cycle clothing that doesn't have an Etxe Ondo logo on it.
