Hi guys, i've got a Torino bike for sale as it is now too small for me and im almost ashamed to admit, have been bitten by the mountain biking bug. I want to sell my bike so i can get a car but i don't know be worth? its about five years old, it hasn't had that much use as i have another road bike. there are a couple of scrathes on the paint which have been there since i brought it (from new) however nothing serious and nothing deep. the tyres might need replacing as i think they are getting a bit perished. I think the bike was about 400 pounds new and i've seen articles where people have been selling the same bike for 150-255, this seems quite a bit for a second hand bike, If anyone could help me, it would be much appreciated!.

You could check out eBay to see what price similar bikes go for?0

Yeah I'd stick it on ebay - if you are worried about posting a bike it's not actually that much hassle - main thing is getting hold of a cardboard bike box.
it's a hard life if you don't weaken.0 -
Hi
I bought and sold the same bike on E-bay
Purchased for £185 in mint condition & 3 months later sold it in mint condition for £205
Happy days!0 -
The OP says he was bitten by the mountain bike bug.
Surely we should be pointing him in the direction of urgent medical help?0 -
Cheers guys, if i could get 205 for it i'd be over the moon and i'd have more space in my garage! @ smokin joe, your probably right, thing is though with Cannock, Llandegla, Coed Y Brenin, Betws Y Coed and many more trails near by it seems a bit of a no brainer, not giving up on the road though I've got a random road bike that has no markings on it so we're not sure who made it, neither are the previous owners, but its light, very fast and comfy so its all good0
