Hi to everybody on this great site from the West Country!

I have just bought a 2nd hand Merlin Rock Lobster Team Ti frame (2002 model with rear disc mounts) and wondered if any of you could shed some light on the following for me:

The seller said the frame was 17" but measuring the seat tube c-t is 19" - does anybody have the old geometry details for this frame perhaps?

The difference between the 2002 and newer 2010 model.

    How are you measuring the size?

    Call Merlin and ask them How they measure it.

    Not all bike companies measure the same way.

    Thx nicklouse,

    I have the geometry from the new one and the seat tube (centre from bb to top of seat tube) on the 19" is 48.3 (19") and 17" is 43.2 (17")
    I will call them on Monday, but still interested to hear comments on changes, ride etc, as still only a lonely frame at the moment!
