Trek 1.5 with Ultegra?

Just found this review of the Ultegra 6700 Groupset on YouTube, its on a Trek 1.5 (look at the chainstay), from looking up on the internet i've realised its the 2008 1.5 but this wouldn't have had Ultegra 6700 on it as it wasn't even out then!

The bike looks too new to be 2 years old surely....

For those with 6700 Ultegra note that the chain is directional and must go on the correct way around! I didn't realise this....

Looks like a 2009 1.5c to me built with the Ultegra groupset.

And the review was posted in 2009 also - thus it was a new bike.

Definetely 2008 mate, very similar in appearance but the logo is in white on the downtube on the 2008.

In fact the 2008 and 2009 1.5 are very similar in appearance to my 2010 2.5! :shock:

I wonder if it would be possible to take the existing bits off a 2008 1.5 and fit 6700 Ultegra? Just a crazy notion I know, but, well, stranger things have happened!
