The best cafe that I know of is just a few doors down from my flat, so I rarely have a fry-up mid ride. Maybe post or pre.
However, I have a great love of cake. And I find that Coffee and Walnut cake is usually pretty good, whichever Sussex cafe I chose to stop at. Lots of sugar and a dollop of caffeine, yummie.0 -

never ceases to amaze me how my cycle club turn up en mass - all lean(ish) , healthy, fitness mad, and between them order half a pig, 3 dozen eggs, a greenhouse's annual production of tomatoes laced with sugar, enough beans to propel concord to New York and 5-6 loaves of bread (white not brown)
funny inst it how all the cycling mags have regular sections on diet and nutrition - but get 30 hungry cyclists in a cafe and all that is forgotten!0 -
On the bike usually beans on toast but in general a nice fry up (don't have them very often) or egg and chips providing I can find a place where they leave the yoke nice and runny.0

carrot cake with a pot of tea at the Wendover woods cafe. Makes the climb worthwhile.0

+1 for coffee and walnut cake and a nice mug of tea.
Love fry ups but find if on a ride I'm likely to say hello to them again. Can just about manage beans on toast which is nice on a cold winters ride.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

Sweet bejeebus you are a greedy lot
I like the traditional mid ride snake of,
A large piece of heavy bread toasted, good quality olive oil drizzled onto the toast followed by pulped up fresh tomatoes and garlic, with a little salt and pepper. Drink with a stong milky glass of coffee.
