meh. If you can imagine the living male equivalent of the teacher from the Charlie Brown cartoons, I'll be spending 6 hours of today in a meeting room with this person. To make matters worse, there's no windows in the room and no air con. It's a constant battle to stay awake.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Spong - Embrace the sleep. If asked, say it's because the guy's the male equivalent to the teacher from Charlie Brown.

MatelotFreddy - Tell him he's a morale hoover and an IT biff and needs to do something about it (in the nicest way possible). If he does nothing, go to his boss and tell him he's a morale hoover and an IT biff and making the staff below him less productive than if he was replaced with a fluffy toilet seat cover.

See a theme to my tactics? :D

My plan for the day: Work, drive to Surrey, pub. Worked late for the last couple of nights to take this afternoon off. Hopefully miss a big lump of traffic!

    Good Morning Freaks!

    TGIF!

A day of bacon and coffee today methinks. Nothing to do in the office, I'm just sat here - it's the same for everyone else here as we're in the "Transition Phase" of our restructure - which basically means no-one higher up the food chain had through this out properly...

Going to do some 'research' on the interwebnetz, which may (or maynot) involve carbon fibre and titanium. :D

I'm going to be doing this, till lunch time, when I'll go for a nap, then this again till 4 o'clock, then I'll go home and pretend I've been working hard all day. Then I'll eat dinner, bath the kids, read some stories to them. Then I'll probably download something to watch so I don't have to pretend to be interested in the shit my wife is watching on the telly. Then I will lie awake for several hours reflecting on what a shit day it's been, and getting more miserable about all the stuff I can't afford. I will probably get up around 2 o'clock, still not having slept and proceed to drink 1/2 bottle of whiskey, which will eventually help me slide into oblivion, but will fuck up any chance of Saturday being any better than Friday.

  • Greetings Crudites!

I am still out of the country sweltering in 30º+ temps and loving it
Right now I am at my son's business premises leaching off his DSL line, sadly DSL in this part of the world rarely exceeds 512Mb/s, so it's lethargic
We're ducking out for lunch shortly, so no idea what we'll do for the rest of the day..

Hello everyone, I'm mostly doing uni work today. I happened to score the winning goal in a hockey match on wednesday so consequently have no recolection of wednesday evening but seeing as I can barely walk I'm going to give up drinking for a while because it's just getting silly now and I'm bored of it. In a minute I'm going to check the bank balance to see if I can afford to buy some bikey bits and a new textbook, if not i guess it will have to be bike bits. Then I'm going to go play with our new flat hamsters and pretend I'm studying their anatomy.

I like Bilston Market, I get propper yammy when I go though, I was brough, sorry dragged up in Bilston. And if you go to the right stalls the stuff is good, avoid Harpers Meats like the plague. I also like my Friday morning chat with the wenches on the fish market, proper common but man I would (One is like a Bilston version of Jodie Prenger), there was a new girl on there today, who whilst attractive, wasn't my regular fishwife grrr
