Upping the mileage

I had pretty much a free day today so late morning I set off into the Fens, across through Peterboghorror (it's safe cos Bristows the Bianchi dealer is closed Thursdays, removing temptation...) and out into Northamptonshire, returning via Grafham Water
Recently I've taken to only displaying the time on my CatEye (and mph by default) so was chuffed when I returned home to find I'd done 92 miles, well above my previous longest of a 62 mile commute/evening outing
might be a drop in the ocean for lots of members here, but I'm fairly pleased with it, 20 minutes for lunch, 15 for coffee and a ZipVit bar and around 5 x 5 minutes for a smoke (I know, I know  ) but I could have pi55ed the 100 had I not had to collect the ankle biters by 6pm, honest I could

My times, and distance would probably be a lot better without the smokes
Maybe a new years resolution coming on.....
Congrats on the 92 though, a good ride, cant help feeling if you had just pushed another 8 miles you would have bagged a century! but 92 miles as good as any!0 -
Well done.92miles is a long way on a push bike, blimey most people think it's along way in a car.TT photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/steverob/0

the smokes don't make a lot of differenceconstantly reavalueating the situation and altering the perceived parameters accordingly0
