Afternoon all,

Our little clan is going to ride an 18mile loop of Ladybower on Sunday, if your interested in coming along please get in touch via our facebook group. The last ride around Jacobs Ladder ended up with 9 of us and literally climbing up a hill with bikes on our backs after getting lost. If this sounds like your sort of adventure come along, its not a race just a good old day out.

Cheers
Si

just had a look at your facebook page and see that your meeting at Fairholmes, the parking is about £4 but there is (lots of) free parking about 200m up the road. when you reach the mini round about for Fairholmes just go round it and head back the way you came and park for free. at 9am there's no worries about getting a space. say hello if you see us there, we'll be the two blokes with ford focus's with a Cube and a Tank 100mm hardtails, we can give you some tips on not getting lost as it sounds like your doing the Ladybower classic and also make sure your doing it the right way round!

PS you'll love it! (less carrying than the Jacobs route)
  • Just took a wrong turning but instead of turning around, headed on into the abyss. Was worth the climb as the path back down was fast and fun. Hopefully no problems this week but if there is you'll not forget it in a hurry :)

I live nearby so may look into entering this - is it open to anyone?
  • No. nobody cleared the stones, though that sounds like a challenge so next time I will give it a good go. The camera died half way round so missed out on some good pics. Next ride will be posted as soon as a date is arranged, maybe back at ladybower for a slightly longer loop.
