Mine are fine too.
Rotors do need a little bit of TLC (on cars, bikes and mtbs). If you have got them very hot, keeping rolling for 30 seconds to let them cool down before stopping. If you don't and you just stop and rest after using them for the last 'however long' on that big downhill, your pads (glowing red hot) will be stopping one section of the disc from cooling down and warps will become much more likely. Even just moving the wheels round a quarter turn every 5-10 seconds will be better than nothing.
You can destroy a set of car race discs just by doing a big motorway slip road stop and then sitting there with your foot on the brake waiting for traffic lights.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

I use Alligator Saw Tooth rotors just now but...my stock Avid discs had nothing wrong with them apart from tiny specks of rust.0

I thinks it's G3 rotors that come with Elixir's?
If so, they do warp really easily, the rotor that came with my Elixir has warped rather easily0 -
i think it is the G3 that comes as standard with CR / Rs.
What did you replace with? I've looked at superstar and A2Z but can't find enough feedback detail (good price on either though)
i believe the G2 rotor is sposed to be a bit thicker/burlier than the G3 and the ashimas look like they're made of melted cheese0 -
I switched to Hope floating rotors, a few rust spots but otherwise fine.
It was the pads that were naff - I changed them for Superstar sintered.0 -
Running Elixir CRs I'm using G3 rotors on a set of Mavic Crossrides with no problems so far. I'm also using Ashima AirRotors on an Easton Wheelset - they work fine - a lot noisier and you can feel the cutaways - again no warping so far but much lighter. (all on a Scott Scale 30 - with a 14.5 stone rider)
If you don't have Avid Turkey Gobble with the G3 rotor I'd buy new G3. A lot of people seem to struggle to find a frame/rotor/pad combination that doesn't gobble. Your luck may vary.
Don't think my G2s that came stock on the bike with J5s were any burlier - in fact they are in the bin because they are warped - but I think it was "accidental" warping - oops.0
