It wasn't as bad as I feared...

Ignore the gaping holes in the science and plot, and feast your eyes on Anna...

No, not bad, but not exactly enthralling either.

Yeah not bad, i watched the 3rd episode last night, when Lisa (V) chooses Tyler (human) to mate with.

Got another 10 episodes to watch, will probably get through them if i allocate a couple of nights of doing nothing but watching V!!

The whole first series was shown on SyFy earlier this year. It's watchable, but not great TV.

Nevertheless, I'll be tuning in for Series 2 if/when it comes back.

Is this a rip off of the 80's classic?

    A re-imagining surely!

Yes - that is correct. Not just a straight remake.

I saw the first series on SYFY too and agree its ok but nowt special.

They must have a very limited number of actors/actresses for these types of programmes as the same ones keep popping up in Lost, Flashforward, V etc.

I have read that the US TV channel has commisioned a new series of V but Flashforward has been binned along with Heroes.

Heroes had run its course and was getting pretty lame. FlashForward had promise but there was only so much story to it - but was better than V in my opinion. But viewing numbers obviously d'dn;t support it (in the US)
