I went to see that new Julia Roberts movie' Eat Pray Love' on the weekend....please do not waste 133minutes of your life being bored watching this utterly crap narcissistic nonsense.
If your wife suggests that you go to the movies together...just reply that she deserves a night out with her female friends.

Not seen it yet but if the trailer is anything to go by then can I suggest going to see RED!

Something very surreal about casting Helen Mirron as a retired Jason Bourne type character!!! Lol

It stars Julia Roberts. Was that not enough of a warning for you?
  • Yeah, my Girlfriend has just finished reading the book. She loved it, but then she would wouldn't she? It's all about one womens journey to find herself. Traveling through various countries and meeting various nice people. Sorry, but I had large parts of the book read to me. I hope the film is better than the book was. No doubt she'll go watch the film then tell me all about it afterwards.
And before I forget - what an all star cast!

Mrs T went to see it with a female friend. She din't even ask me to go with her.
When she got home she said "I really enjoyed it, you would have hated it."
    Good lass.

No way I could sit and listen to the missus reading out loud to me from a book.

We went to see Inception last week, enjoyed it, so did the missus.
  • You should have listened to Mark Kermode. You were warned

Sitting through the trailer twice was enough for me, another film where someone disillusioned with modern life 'finds themselves'. Christ. Thankfully the female friend who I tend to watch a lot of my films with whispered 'load of shit' to me as the trailer finished so I knew I was safe.

My wife read the book and hated it. She begged off going to the movie with her mom. I felt sorry for her dad having to go but better him than us.
