Thanks. Its been done over a few months, buying stuff when i had the money spare. Eventually it will all go on a better frame, but for now its doing its job brilliantly.

Are you having any problems with cable rub on the fork crown? I've got a nice silver patch on the driveside on my Fury.

Cable rub can be prevented by putting helicopter tape on those areas - just make sure you get the genuine article as there seem to be some imitations around which don't stick properly.
I got mine here and it's been excellent:

I suffered with cable rub across the forks crown, picked up some black frame protection patches and stuck across effected areas. Works a treat. :D

Shame i didn't find them prior to the rub marks
  • Can I have the 2p on the floor? nice bike, I'm planning on getting a fury but don't know what colour to pimp it when I do.

Haha, thanks. The 2p? Thats been there for ages, i just never pick it up for whatever reason :D

White will go with practically any colour you choose, red, blue, gold, whatever you can get your hands on. I would have gone with green if it wasn't so fcuking rare!

Let us know how you get on.

  • KCNC do a fair few green bits, but no hubs or anything unfortunately which is one of the main parts I would want in green. Lovely looking build!

They do, but its for the hope racing team. I saw some green m4's on ebay a few months ago...

Thanks mate. Your BMC is sweet as well. Absolute steal!

As for green hubs, Chris King do them. Pricey though.

  • Sorry to resurrect this, but does the 15mm Q-loc system work fine with the Hope hubs? I'm certain someone told me the skewer fouled 'cos the Hope hubs aren't sleeved like the standard Formula hub that comes on the Fury - thanks Weasel
