I have narrowed my search down to these 6 bikes but don't know which to go for.
I will be using mainly on roads and on woodland tracks/river tow paths.
I want a bike that has some speed and will last but also handle slightly rougher terrian.
Please Help!!
Scott Sub 40
Specialized Sirrus
Kona Dew
Ridgeback Velocity
Globe Vienna

Have you asked in Commuting?
All we really know about here is carbon, Chorus and Cancellara being a bit of a nob at the mo....My pen won't write on the screen0 -
Try to narrow it down even more and test tide those.
Or just try to ride any of the bikes on your list and get the one that feels best.0 -
I had a Ridgeback velocity good strong bike it will do your job, I sold all my alu /steel framed bikes when I got hooked on carbon, the ones I had were all so heavy and slow compared to the Carbon framed bikes, that I could not be bothered riding them anymore.0

I've got the Edinburgh Co-op Bike shop Revolution Cross - £400. Does everything from muddy fields to 100m sportives - highly recommended for its complete versitility.0
